The Keever Rd project in Lebanon, Ohio was a perfect example of how proper water control and grading can completely transform a failing driveway. This lane had long‑term drainage problems that caused soft spots, ruts, and repeated washouts. The homeowner wanted a long‑term fix — not another temporary top‑off — so we rebuilt the driveway the right way from the ground up.
Project Overview
1. Driveway Grading & Base Correction
The driveway had settled unevenly over the years, creating low pockets where water collected. We re‑graded the entire lane to establish proper fall, eliminate pooling, and prepare the base for drainage improvements.
2. Catch Basin Installation
A failing roadside ditch was sending water directly across the driveway. We installed a new catch basin to intercept runoff and redirect it safely. This prevents erosion, washouts, and base failure.

3. Drainage Pipe Installation
We added new drainage pipe to carry water away from the driveway and into the proper outlet. Without this step, any resurfacing would fail again.

4. Full Driveway Resurface
Once the water was controlled and the base corrected, we resurfaced the entire driveway with fresh limestone. The new surface compacts tightly, sheds water correctly, and provides a smooth, durable finish.
